The painting uses a palette of bright pinks and yellows in the foreground area which is balanced by the strong deep blues in the sky.
Lively brushwork describes the foreground grasses and field.
The artwork is inspired by the late season tangle of stalks and hopeful flowerings in the fields near my rural studio.
