I spent 20 years in Colorado and now live in Massachusetts, USA, both of which places have given me a lot of inspiration from nature. I love sunsets, and I'm often outside at dusk taking pictures. I've painted clouds for 10 years, to which I've added the air and the atmosphere. I'd want canvases to be healthy for me and my buyers, for this reason, I use odor-free water mixable oils from Germany. When I'm painting, I try to feel the air around the canvas, which causes my art to be light, optimistic, meditational, and peaceful. I think that may be why people from a lot of countries around the world have purchased my art. I try to put all of the energies I feel from this amazing universe and transfer that love into my paintings. I'd like to connect with my viewers emotionally. I'd like to invite them into my experience, to let them feel as if they are there, within the picture, a part of the sunset or a part of that moment. I use all of my energies intuitively to create the mood I'm painting, like the drama, the quietness, and the sadness, and I'd like to feel viewers be free with what they see in my paintings.
