TRAVEL DIARY SERIES - this particular work was created in conte pencil and using gouache on vintage book page paper.. a small drawing series of ongoing works created over the past ten years or more, using sketches and photographs from my world travels, using all mediums including pencil, ink, gouache and collage, over 250 works now make up this very popular series..I enjoy travel and take many photographs and make continuous sketches filling endless sketch pads ready to create finished works upon my return to the studio... ( the red umbrella lady or figure I place in some of the works is artistic license and a well known Jover addition ) it is used to balance out the composition, add interest and to tie in all the works and series and create a cohesive whole. all artworks are sprayed with museum quality archival fixative and are sent with a hand signed thank you note and Certificate of Authenticity.
