Attention in this etude is focused on the sky. A huge cloud, the size of which is emphasized by small houses, is illuminated by the rays of the setting sun. Shadows have fallen on the field in the lower part of the artwork, but the houses and the field line near the trees are illuminated by the warm rays of the summer setting sun.
Artwork is made with oil paints on primed cardboard.
