Original artwork description
The artwork with the frame becomes 54x54 cm and, if requested, it can be removed. The artist thus develops a visual poetics saturated to the essence of substance and matter in which his women live the dream of the canvas. Sinuous figures confront the two-dimensional space, rhythmizing every available centimeter and resetting time. Dream, therefore, not as an ideal atmosphere but as a suspended dimension where space-time is overturned, and the actresses float on the surface, deceiving the viewer with a faint contact. They are free, but at the same time light, almost palpable in their fragility. In most of the paintings, it is not possible to distinctly perceive the painted woman. She approaches us, then withdraws. She observes us, and then we lose contact. She is elusive.
