As I saw her coming from the firing in the kiln with those drops of red glaze on her back I thought she was wounded, but alive. I have immediately remembered hundreds of poor dolphins haunted each year by bloodthirsty Japanese suckers in Taiji. I wish each of the those dolphins would escape their hooks like this little mermaid did...
