"Ephemeral City" - Original Abstract Oil Painting On Canvas (2017) Original Oil Painting by Preston M. Smith (PMS)

This is a unique and original PMS abstract oil painting. It is part of a series of pieces on 36" x 18" canvas. This piece was painted with my own personal mantra in mind: Beauty, Color and Texture. As I was painting it, structures began to evolve and appear as colors pop out at you, while others fade into the background. It reminded me of city structures. It is almost as if there is a fog/mist over the city and certain structures are visible, while others fade into the distance. The colors in this piece are more muted and mysterious. It is a truly unique and emotional abstract cityscape like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on canvas and is not framed, but comes hang ready with the sides painted black. Framing is unnecessary, but up to the preference of the collector.

This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
