Original Watercolor on paper 11.5'' H x 6'' W inch.(30x18cm) - depicts one of the entrance of the Twin Churches that stand in piazza del Popolo in Rome: one the most iconic place in Rome, two Identical buildings stand beside each other as monumental passage between the square and Via del Corso. I was attracted by the light, typical warm 'luce Romana' of the late afternoon that hits the Church diagonally. The painting is a small detail of a huge place, but sometime this small architectural parts tell more feelings then a typical image, as a postcard, of an iconic and touristic place. Plein air Watercolor made on location, dated and signed on both sides 2026; on paper watercolor, Saunders Waterford 300 gsm rough and deckle edges.
The painting tries to render the energy and feelings of the place, with a technique wet on wet.
The Painting will come signed, dated and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity
