Original artwork description
This series of small landscape paintings was created in Greater Manchester over the course of several years. I was exploring the infinite variety of sky and light above a single northern scene: each painting captures a fleeting, unrepeatable moment — from the delicate hues of dawn to the deep tones of sunset, from the brilliance of a clear day to the drama of a stormy cloud. Jointly, they form a poetic diary of nature accompanied by my reflection on mood, rhythm, and the very breath of time.
