The painting depicts an impressionistic beach scene rendered in oil on canvas. It shows a vivid blue sky with fluffy white clouds above a greenish-blue ocean that rolls onto a sandy shoreline with white-capped waves. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, giving the work an energetic, atmospheric feel. This painting was inspired by my recent trip to the Dominican Republic with my family. The place is full of joyful atmosphere, sun, and the beauty of nature.
