„Elephant #8” is an expressive painting. A close up elephant head on a large canvas.
Splashing Colors in grey, white and turquoise, blue. This work is powerful and yet reserved in the color scheme. The painting is expressive and dominates the room, the elephant literally jumps out of the screen.
„No one in the world needs an elephant tusk, but an elephant.”
This work was created in the series "ONE OF THE BIG FIVE" and is originated from criticism of the big game hunt.

This painting is one of a kind and is created by me in my studio by Hanover Germany.
I used acrylic painting and graphite. The painting is covered with a coat of glossy varnish.
