I painted this piece to explore the quiet strength that lives in stillness. The figure’s calm, direct gaze and soft features emerge from a world of simple color blocks—bright green, pale sky blue, and a flash of vivid orange-red.

This painting is part of my ongoing exploration of contemporary portraiture—where simplicity, color, and emotion converge.
