One of a series of paintings I have done in the public park in Edinburgh known as The Meadows. It is a Central Park with avenues of cherry trees that blossom briefly in May. It is a glorious sight. I wanted to communicate that in this painting. Many who have lived in Edinburgh will have enjoyed this annual spectacle of nature.
