This is a blossoming cherry tree, one of many along Princes Street in Edinburgh. They blossom briefly in May and are a beautiful sight. Behind are the Princes Street Gardens and towering above is the magnificent profile of Edinburgh Castle. I wanted to communicate the drama of this spectacular urban view.
