Original artwork description:

An oil landscape painting in a contemporary style.

The warm tones of this oil painting are evocative of a landscape just as autumn begins. Red hues are visible in the grassy slope, leading to the copse of trees on the brow of the hill. Expressive brushstrokes depict the heavy weight of the trees that are casting deep shadows beneath them, and the soft light that is falling on the meadow beyond.

Painted after an autumal walk in London's Richmond Park. Amusing note: the tree branches all stop at the same level, as the many deer that roam the park nibble the branches within reach!

This painting was created using Michael Harding Professional Artists oil colours on a gesso primed, stretched canvas. The edges of the artwork are painted white, so this artwork does not have to be framed.

Ready to hang.

Signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
