Echoes of Summer is an expressive art nouveau style oil painting showing the echoes of swallows in the corner of a meadow. It is 35.5x47x0.5 inches semi abstract, decorative and vibrantly coloured. The painting shows elegantly placed trees and flowers with the outlines of swallows diving over them. It is called echoes of summer as this is what swallows are in the UK as they only spend their summer’s here before returning to Africa or Europe. I am always sad to see them go as it means the fragrant heady summer days of birdsong and insect buzzing are over far too soon! It is painted on thin canvas so does need a frame but is ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity.
