This sculpture is a figurative metal work that explores the fragility and transformation of the human body over time. Created by assembling scrap metal rings, wires, and steel pieces, the structure reflects the rhythm and sense of movement of human anatomy rather than directly imitating it. The circular metal rings forming the figure's torso both allude to the spine and rib system and symbolize the cyclical nature of life. This open form, reminiscent of the body's internal structure, allows the viewer to perceive the figure not only through its outer shell but also through its inner workings. The rusty metal surface used in the sculpture creates a texture bearing the traces of time and use. This gives the work both a historical character and an existential layer. The way the metal pieces are joined implies that the human body can be constructed like a mechanical structure while simultaneously making visible the fragile balance of life. The figure's posture, which appears to be walking, captures a moment of motion. This gesture symbolically expresses the human being's constantly progressing journey through life and their existence within time. This work invites us to consider both the transformation of materials and the transience of human existence through the reinterpretation of scrap metal.
