Easy Peeler is a realist oil painting study on a gesso panel , measuring 8 x 6 inches (approx 20 x 15 cm).

This small oil study of a type of orange, known as an Easy Peeler, is a continuation of a new series of Still Life paintings by realist artist Christopher Witchall.

Christopher combines 21st century technology of Hi-Resolution digital imaging, with centuries old painting techniques, including a grisaille under painting and building up depth of colour by layering very thin transparent oil paint, in a technique called glazing.
The resulting painting has a high degree of realism, within a stripped back, modern feel composition.

Easy Peeler is signed on the back and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and is sold unframed.
