Original artwork description:

A beautiful forest full of birch trees. The tree trunks are painted in subtle shades of blue/grey with paler highlights showing where the light hits them from the warm glow of light coming through the forest. There's loads of brush detail in the grasses along with purple/blue flowers. Hand painted in my studio in Nova Scotia, Canada.

PLEASE NOTE: This painting was created on unstretched canvas and will need to be stretched or framed in order to be displayed. Ships rolled. Frame not included.

Once stretched, this painting will measure 40 inches tall and 36 inches wide. I've painted an extra 2.5 inches all round, so when it's stretched, the image will roll over the edge in a clean modern look.

Signature is on the back only, also titled and dated on back.

Protected with a light gloss varnish.

SHIPPING to Canada and USA takes 6 to 10 days.

Original paintings do not incur customs charges when shipped to the United States from Canada. Even though de minimis ended August 29th, original artworks remain duty-free under HTS Chapter 97 of the U.S. customs code. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

The VAT tax charged to import original fine art from Canada to the UK by a private citizen (not a business) is only 5%.
