This painting comes from a very precise image and from the search for a feeling of peace and profound serenity. Compared to the other studies in the "Birds" series dedicated to the flight of birds, this one is unique. There is not only strong lights or dominant colors towards which the scene converges, everything is in motion and blends freely. The elegant forms of the heron become the sky, the colors become the form, and the light reveals the idea as delicately as a whisper. It was one of the most demanding paintings of recent years and of which I am proud, above all for the balance reached between intuition and realization.
