Original artwork description
If you have ever seen Tchaikovsky's classic ballet "Swan Lake", you have probably shed a tear at the scene of the dying swan. In this piece, I tried to capture the beauty, grace and stregnth of the scene. All black and white as I thought that additional color would be a distraction.
This piece is India ink and acrylic paint on archival grade, architectural drafting film. It is an original “one-of-a-kind” work and no authorized copies will ever be made.
For shipment to the U.S. or Canada, the painting can be mounted on tempered masonite hardboard with a hanging strip on the back. The overall size, including the mounting board, is 6” wider and 7” taller than the size of the painting itself. It can be immediately hung unframed or, if you prefer, a more formal frame can be added. Mounting is at the purchaser’s option and there is no extra charge. For shipment outside North America, the painting will be shipped in a mailing tube with instructions on how to mount it.
The painting is signed on the front and has a signed certificate of authenticity on the back.
