On my painting you see a woman enjoying abstract expressionist paintings by Mark Rothko.
Rothko once said that the best way to experience his works is when you viewed them from a very short distance like 12" or 30cm or so.
I once did that. Boy, was he right. The colors washed me away and it touched me on some deep emotional/ spiritual level. Amazing as the works themselves are just blocks of color.
