Here is another in my series of tree portraits done in a pointillist/impressionist style.

This is a large canvas. It would make a great focal point in any room or office space.

The surface is many, many layers of overlapping dots, and it took ages to do this, as the paint has to dry between each layer. These are built up to form the structure and texture of the tree, and the background. My aim is to make the whole painting mesh together with similar paint techniques, to bind the work , rather than just putting a tree against a plain background. It makes it visually interesting this way!

This is painted in good quality acrylic paint. It is varnished with UV varnish. The sides are black. It comes ready to hang.
