‘Dopamine Dancing in Flower Pots’ (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Kathryn Sillince

This painting feels like a tropical daydream filtered through a dopamine rush. It’s giving “botanical garden after two spicy margaritas.”

The whole piece pulses with juicy oranges, electric pinks, deep teal blues, and buttery yellow — like nature got remixed by a fashion designer with zero interest in subtlety. The plant forms are abstracted just enough to feel playful and surreal: oversized leaves curl like candy ribbons, pineapples pop up like glamorous party guests, and every shape seems to be dancing instead of sitting still.

There’s a really cool tension between organic and graphic here. The bold outlines and layered colour blocking make it feel contemporary and almost textile-inspired, while the soft blending keeps it lush and painterly. It has that modern “maximalist paradise” energy you’d see in a boutique hotel lobby, an art-forward café, or the home of someone who owns very expensive sunglasses.

This original painting has been signed and titled by me on the back of the canvas.
