(don't go) This way - Oil on linen 85x49x2cm (33.5x19.3x0.8in) 2017 SOLD, private collection, Mullingar, IE.
In this painting you can see a mix between a realistic painting technique and an ironic message. I started thinking about this painting after I had the idea of a sign which doesn't point to anywhere. Then, I turned it into a 'one way' sign with something misleading written on. The guy standing before the wall is a friend of mine and the wall painting is a replica of an artwork displayed in an abandoned area near Milan.
