Original artwork description
I like to remember beautiful legends when I work on my paintings. For example, about a lake lost high in the mountains. According to legend, the gods created this lake as a gift to the forest fairies, so that they could enjoy swimming in clean, cool water. And the beautiful forest maidens frolicked and swam in the clear waters of the lake until people discovered their secret. Deprived of their seclusion, the fairies left the lake. Then the gods became angry with the people and in a rage scattered lightnings over the surrounding mountains, turning people into bare stones.
The painting was created in a stretched canvas with the painting continued around the edges of the artwork.
The painting is ready to hang, no frame need.
