Acrylic painting on canvas, on a painted gesso frame (9x12x1 cm).
Miniature painting of a green and black poison frog or "dendrobates auratus". The artwork is packaged, in a handmade box, with the series' logo linocut printed on the packaging, accompanied by signed certificate of authenticity.

"Festum animalium" is a series of miniature animal paintings, with each animal painted only once. This rule makes it fun for me as I have to keep record of the animals and subspieces that I paint. I also enjoy mapping the cities and countries where each animal is shipped to. I hope you enjoy the collecting experience.
