Original artwork description
Semi-abstract in impasto technique, interpretation of an blooming apple-tree. The painting shows the vibrant colours of the tree contrasting the bright reds of the fruit with the natural green tone of the leaves. The artist has used an acrylic base to create a three-dimensional look; that has been accented with oil paints to provide vibrant accents. The background depicts a blue late summer sky, with an earth-toned foreground, that ties the apples in with red-orange flecks. The artist has also used bronze across the foreground in order to create a cohesive three-dimensional look to the painting. The large canvas is a perfect centre-piece for every room both in natural light and artificial.
