Original artwork description
I painted a large series of contemporary florals some years ago. Since then, my work is predominantly figurative, but I just fancied painting another huge flower.
I love Art Deco style, this hyacinth has a natural deco look about it with it's almost symmetrical leaf structure.
It looks great alongside 'Calla lilies with palm'
Painted on chunky box canvas with grey edges.
