Artwork description:
Dandelions are the only plant that represent three celestial bodies through their life cycle. The yellow flower, is the Sun, the seed head is the moon and the seeds flying away are the stars. I also love the fact you are supposed to make a wish when you blow on the seed heads.
A reduction Lino print is formed using layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of Lino. This is one of an edition of 8 prints, because of the process of making a Lino print, each one has slight variations making each one of them original.
This is printed using Schmincke water based ink on Somerset Satin 300GSM paper.
The print is numbered, titled and signed on the front. The printed image is 10 x 15 cm, it is sold unmounted and unframed.
The image will be sent securely packaged by Royal Mail.
