Artist's description:

From the series "Male Ballet Dancers / Dancing with Birds".

In the pictures of ballerinas, a rare artist will do without spectacular tutus, veils, scarves, without translucent flying draperies. In my works, men are mostly depicted in tights, so that not to hide their bodies. But being as they are deprived of these spectacular accessories, I surrounded them with bird feathering - birds add expression and motion to the canvas, carry not only colour, but also semantic load.

God has gifted us with many other plants and animal species like birds, butterflies, flowers, fish and the list goes on. And birds are believed to be some of the most beautiful creations of nature, and flamingo bird is perhaps one of the most recognisable and adorable. Its refined, exquisite body shapes and vibrant scarlet colours of plumage are mesmerising... They are definitely my favourite birds and I keep returning to depict these heavenly creatures on my canvases.
Flamingos are an allegory of Balance and Steadfastness, of Healing, Love and Romance
They are so regal and graceful…they really command our attention with their flamboyant, exotic stature.
In truth, flamingos prefer the simple, calm, quiet life. This is the prime key to symbolic flamingo facts…never judge or make quick conclusions because there is a lot more going on than what we see on the surface.
