Acrylic colours on raw Fabriano Rosaspina watercololur paper, 285gm. 28 x 19 in., 71 x 49cm.
This is as much about people as it is about skin, and as much about playing with colours and movement. The idea is based on a set of pictures, where I caught this precious pose. Thanks Jim for your fun and funny photos on flkr, His comment on the painting says much: “Holy f** dude, Wow! :-) :-) :-)”
This is a lovely paper, convenient size, just the right absorbency for this raw paper, and a thick paper.
The close up picture is to give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke. Then there’s the work in progress, and me with the artwork for perspective.
