Original artwork description
The last of the Dahlias are providing a much welcome pop of colour in the garden. I picked a couple of stems and plonked them in a striped vase as inspiration for this little canvas.
The painting is on a very chunky canvas (its sides are 7.5cm deep) and the painting flows all the way over these deep edges. It can hang on a wall but equally could be placed on a shelf as it will stand up on its own to create a modern pop of interest in a room.
