Original artwork description
A small series, based on a simple basic shape. For me, this sculpture is about the beauty of the different types of stone, but also about the need to touch things. That's what you can do with these stones. By polishing you can see the colors extra well. They remind me of cloudy skies, hence the title.
This sculpture is made of three different kind of stones: alabaster (14 x 31 x 12 cm), marble (12 x 20 x 8 cm) and black limestone (10 x 31 x 12 cm). You can arrange the pieces as you like.
