I'm drawing birds these days. And crows have been cawing from the trees and telephone line. They aren't as big as the ravens that perched in the tree north of the house. And they're more skittish. It's harvest time here. Just the stems of wheat stalks left in the fields. The crows provide a nice silhouette against these bleak fields.
I drew this crow on linoleum, cut him out, and printed with oil-based ink on Italian Fabriano paper.
