What is the signature speciality of the waterlilies and lotuses?

They grow in stagnant water, obviously not very clean, but they are so pure!
But they do not show the slightest sign of that, they stand for purity, and they are a sheer visual pleasure!

Whatever the mental turmoil, let's rise above it as fresh and pure as these lovely flowers!

Everything in nature has something to teach us, what life is all about!
I paint water lilies without any preliminary drawing or planning. All my water lilies in watercolour are free-hand types and I go with the flow to complete the painting. It is indeed a great meditative experience for me.
