Artwork description
Each piece in Credo series is a unique hybrid between photography and painting, existing as both image and object.
In a time when traditional religious and spiritual systems are declining, Credo explores the emergence of new forms of belief and spirituality.
At the crossroads of shamanic traditions, popular superstitions, ecofeminism, animism, and contemporary mythologies, new ways of understanding the world are taking shape.
Perhaps trees communicate with us, cats perceive realities beyond our reach, and the stars still guide our path?
Working intuitively, I draw inspiration from these shifting beliefs, sometimes incorporating self-portraiture, as a way of entering this evolving landscape. This process is less about affirming a fixed belief than about opening a passage toward other possible worlds—situated in the interstices of reality.
The project combines photography, painting, and digital intervention. Each image is first printed on photographic paper, then reworked by hand using pastels and markers. This process makes every print unique, transforming each piece into a singular object that exists between reproduction and original artwork.
Printed on museum-quality archival Hahnemühle paper. Limited edition of 12. Each print is hand-finished, signed and numbered on the reverse, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
