A little stream runs alongside a footpath lined with cow parsley. The colours in this painting are bold and vibrant and the inspiration came from the track from Buttermere to Crummock Water in the English Lake District. There are ferns and foxgloves lining the banks of the river as it flows along the track, with tall trees providing much welcome dappled shade on a hot day.
