We were on holiday, staying in a boutique hotel which wasn't really boutique because it seemed to have hundreds of rooms. But it was nice enough, and a big plus was somewhere to walk, so before breakfast I trudged off up a hill and found this view, wide open and looking towards the town of Consett. I love painting hills. We don't get them at home.
