Mixed media painting on 50x40 cm stretched canvas.
A semiabstract figurative piece in a dark art style.
Note the intentional disproportion between the shadows ( in psychology, negative aspects of personality we don't identify with, hence deny having) and the small buildings. This is to emphasise the catastrophic consequences of not dealing with one's shadows. They'll grow to the point where they will rule over ones psyche, influencing behaviour,attitudes and beliefs. Acknowledge your shadows, face and fight them. If possible turn them into something positive.
UV resistant varnished for added protection and longevity.
The edges show progression of the painting and tell its story.
