This painting is inspired by my local beach, the sand dunes are like a maze and have this bodily nature to them. I have been trying to tap in to the feeling of our universal experiences of life, both light and dark and the way it informs our everyday. Using colour, mark making and form to express this inner dichotomy expressed through a literal landscape.
NOTE: For reduced shipping costs I can take the painting off the stretcher frame and send the painting in a tube to be re-stretched and framed by your local framer. Please get in touch first before purchasing!
