Artwork description
A screenprint exploring a journey across the region of Cornwall. Inspired by the drawings and sketches made of travelling through the county of Cornwall, along the coast and the areas of foliage. The prints are inspired also by the paintings of the abstract expressionist artists including Han Hofmann, Joan Mitchell and the impressionists.
The image brings together various scenes seen along the way, becoming a jumble of imagery one has to negotiate their way through, untangling in one's mind.

Screen printing ink on recycled cartridge paper
