Artwork description
A study in convergence and flow, this image captures the meeting of sculpted sandstone walls shaped over millennia by water and wind. Sweeping curves guide the eye toward a central axis of light, where opposing forms appear to fold into one another in a moment of quiet tension.
The interplay of shadow and illumination reveals intricate textures and layered movement, emphasizing both the solidity of stone and the fluidity of time. The composition balances structure and abstraction, inviting the viewer to interpret the space as both a physical passage and a symbolic point of union.
Part of the Contours of Time series, this work explores how natural forces shape form, creating harmony through convergence.
