Original artwork description:

Driving through Connemara, there are often surprising, or perhaps not for Ireland, small bodies of water flowing naturally through marginally boggy landscapes. The whole area is full of enchantment and I tried to capture some of how I felt in oil paint with the gentle colours of Ireland to help me. I will return to this area soon, as it has captured my heart.
