Connected | Miami Heat (2016) Original Mixed-media Painting by Yuliya Martynova

My new collection of medium and large scale artworks filled with paper planes is on 450 gsm paper completed with the most vibrant colours (though still within the limits of my signature pallet). 

This collection named Connected is a continuation on the Migration series with more transparency and lightness that watercolour on paper can offer. Striking, powerful though undemanding for space, watercolours have a beautiful way to add elegance to any interior and in the few years have became the most favourite features of every large Art Fair.

With contemporary edge and signature minimalistic pattern, I craft lacy tunes of complementing colours on heavy weight professional paper. 

Connected is about cities, crowds and energy the crowds create within the cosmos of urban developments. 

Defaced in a form of planes the series are capturing my vision of the people's behaviour as a crowd in a particular city, connectivity within and standing out in a hive of like minded.
