Original artwork description
Inspired by the urban energy, this new collection hopes to show the viewer the inner side of what colours each city is made of. The entire collection is on paper, but canvas prints option is available to buy here too.
Connected series is a journey back through my memory depicting each visited urban hive imprint and vibe. I wanted to map each city with a palett I felt best reflects its emotional charge.
In the context of the series the paper planes are referencing the crowd, defaced people, and their behaviour as a group.
Connected with each other or parted. Clustered together or standing on their own. Involved or isolated. Similar or different. The deeper message incripted here is that on the shell we are all the same, but the inner light that gives us that lift and sets us in motion changes our directions, affects trajectories, gives some power to lead and others follow.
