Original oil and acrylic large abstract landscape painting on canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Pocono. Pre-Appalachian landscape. An attempt to capture light, colors and sounds of Midsummers Woods. Abstract impressionism.
The style is expressive and contemporary, focusing more on the feeling and movement rather than realistic representation.
Master-quality material has been used. Heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives. Using oil over the acrylic technique allows for achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture.
