What timeless memories awaken within us when the golden, eternal sun of Rome washes over centuries of history and stone?

This original painting holds a very special place in my heart; it was born from a beautiful spark of inspiration during my unforgettable journey through Italy. Standing before this ancient monument, captivated by its eternal energy and timeless grandeur, I knew I had to translate that magical moment onto canvas.

"Colosseum" brings the eternal warmth of Rome straight into your home, capturing the magnificent amphitheatre under a swirling, sun-drenched sky. Using bold, highly expressive brushstrokes and a vibrant, warm colour palette, this artwork channels a beautiful post-impressionist energy. The dramatic, textured sun and flying birds create a captivating sense of movement, turning a classic Roman landmark into a lively, deeply emotional experience.

ABOUT ME
In every canvas, I try to capture the pure wonder of existence, celebrating the serene harmony of nature and the beauty that surrounds us daily. My impressionistic oil paintings and figurative studies have found homes in numerous private international collections in the UK, USA, Mexico, Canada, Germany, France, Ukraine, Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong. I like the use of light, shadow, and deep monochrome palettes. I continue to create original, high-quality fine art that brings a sophisticated, timeless atmosphere and light into your home.
