Painted en plein air, this piece was born from a moment of inspiration while on location. As the light shifted across the landscape, I quickly set up my gear to capture the fleeting brilliance of the scene. My focus was on the light effect—its movement, its warmth, and its interaction with the forms before me.
While grounded in the local colors of the environment, I intentionally pushed the palette to evoke a more vivid emotional response. You’ll find intensified reds, luminous blues, vibrant greens, rich purples, and golden yellows woven throughout the composition. These choices reflect not just what I saw, but what I felt in that moment of connection with the landscape.
