Clouds over the hill (2021)Oil painting
by Simon Kozhin
£2,778.56
Original artwork description
In this piece, I captured the dynamic interplay between earth and sky. The vivid, earthy foreground contrasts with the tumultuous, expressive sky, invoking a sense of awe and tranquility. Using oil paints, I blended realism and impressionism to evoke both the rawness and sublime beauty of nature. This artwork reflects my fascination with how light and color interact, creating a breathtaking scene that enhances any space with a serene but powerful energy. Look up to the sky and dream. Isn't this real freedom. With this dream, action begins, an impulse of the soul, a desire for discovery. I investigate the air, its refraction by light, color, tone, I mold images from it.
